Memphis Monster Con Memories
This last weekend was the first ever Memphis Monster Con. It was held at the Pipkin Building at the fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday. Memphis has never has a horror con before, so this was the first of its kind in the M-town. Continue reading

“The Funny Pages” is happening @ GCT!
The Mid-South Cartoonists Association’s art show, The Funny Pages, is happening at Germantown Community Theatre at 3037 Forest Hill Irene, Germantown, TN, starting November 12th and throughout the show run of Annie, Jr, December 6 – 22. We also will release Issue 10 of our comics magazine: The Good, The Bad, & The Sketchy during this show. Limited time to get real, good art! Art can be viewed during box office hours and around showtime. Since 1987, the MSCA has promoted cartoon as art, and now you can see it in the gallery!

Hi, Memphis friends! Here’s your invitation to come out to the V&E Artwalk this Saturday, from 11-5. If you’ve never been before, this week’s Flyer sums it up pretty well: more than 50 artists “with exceptional creations in a variety of media … with something to find in everyone’s budget” … food trucks, a full bar, a silent auction, kids activity area, and local-favorite music throughout the day.
I’ll be set up with past favorites and all-new work, so come out and say hi! The V&E Artwalk is at Kirby Station, 1625 Tutwiler. FREE and open to all! Hope to see you there. Continue reading
