MSCA Monthly Dinner Meet-up And Annual Holiday Art Swap Is A Wrap!

Last night was our last 2024 MSCA Monthly Dinner Meet-up at Garibaldi’s Pizza. Monthly meet-ups are free and open to the public. Just bring a few bucks to order off the menu, and be sure to introduce yourself. We always love to have folks bring along what they’ve been working on to show the group, talk toons, draw on jam pieces, work on tablets/laptops/sketchbooks, or doodle on napkins with us! Zines And Pizza Time Again!

It’s time for the official call for entries for The Good, the Bad, and the Sketchy– it’s the issue without a theme! For those of you who crave a theme, it can be “comics about comics”, since we’d originally planned for it to tie in with our “Funny Pages” show opening in November at Germantown Community Theater.  This will be our 10th issue, and as always, comics and illustration are welcome, A.I. and fan art of existing properties are NOT.

Greetings, all!  

This is your official call for entries for The Good, the Bad, and the Sketchy #8 — the FAIRY TALES issue! We’re tying this issue into our “Glass Slipper” summer art show (at Theatre Memphis) with a FAIRY TALE themed issue that we can release as part of the show’s opening. Myths, fables, fairy tales in general (not just limited to Cinderella) … Comics & illustration welcome, fan art of existing properties NOT.
