Tom Graves, author of one of my favorite Robert Johnson books, is ready to create a graphic novel based on the team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. He came to this week’s meeting, and I think this can be a very good opportunity for someone in the MSCA!

National News- NCSFEST & Reuben Awards

Don’t forget the Annual Meeting, being held in Salisbury, NC on Saturday, August 28, 2021!
We’ll be gathering during the day on Friday, and head out for an informal dinner that night. Saturday morning, we’ll have our business meeting at 11:00am at the Waterworks Arts Center. All NCS members and SECNCS members are welcome to attend (I know you folks are in a gray area regarding membership right now, but we’ve extended memberships until things are settled with the NCS.)
Three Amigos- Our Latest In Person Monthly Meeting

Well, this last Tuesday was the 1st Tuesday of the month which means it was time for our monthly MSCA meet-up. The weather was amazing- especially for the first week of August in Memphis! Kevin Williams, Greg Cravens, and I (MSCA current prez and former presidents) met up in a shaded area of Overton Park. We had a fun time talkin’ toons and swapping freelance war stories.
